Civil Litigation

Civil litigation is the legal process of resolving a dispute between two or more parties through the court system. Civil litigation is used to resolve a wide range of disputes, including Contract disputes, Property disputes and Business disputes.

Civil litigation can be a complex and time-consuming process, but it can be the only way to resolve certain disputes.

If a plaintiff is successful in their civil action, the court may order the defendant to pay damages to the plaintiff by way of compensation for any financial loss. Where a plaintiff succeeded, that party will usually be entitled to an order providing for the payment of any legal costs incurred in that action.
